About us:
Robin moved to the Valley in 1997 after running a flower shop in Newport Beach. She began arranging flowers from her home before deciding to open a storefront, and that’s how Mulberry Row was born. When choosing a name, she wanted something deeply rooted in American history. Inspired by Thomas Jefferson’s Mulberry Row—a gathering place on his plantation shaded by mulberry trees—she knew it was the perfect fit. It reflected the essence of what she wanted to create: a welcoming space where people could come together. Over the years, connections blossomed. Max came into the picture in 2008 as a longtime supporter and client of Mulberry Row. During COVID, when Robin was running the shop alone, Max started visiting on Fridays, drawn in by the beauty of flowers. With a deep passion for art and local artisans, she began helping in the store, and their collaboration naturally evolved into something bigger. Robin met Hope when their children attended elementary school together. At the time, Hope was a costumer for film and television, working with celebrities and styling for commercials. Later, she dreamed of opening her own vintage clothing store and approached Robin to do a weekend pop-up. That weekend pop-up became Hanging with Hope Vintage, a hidden gem within the boutique.
Together, Robin, Max, and Hope have built Mulberry Row into more than a boutique—it’s a collective, a community space that empowers women and celebrates the connection between art, flowers, and beauty.
